GKCC-ASPMN is a nonprofit organization chartered by the ASPMN and regulated by its bylaws.

Purpose: To unite professional registered nurses dedicated to the constant endeavor of promoting the highest standards of care for patients of all ages experiencing pain. We strive to promote and provide education that provides stimulation, knowledge, and skills required for professional growth, facilitation of effective communication among pain management nurses of diverse background, knowledge and expertise in order to promote delivery of quality pain management care. Members also speak for the nursing profession with governmental bodies and the public on issues that concern pain.
